Food Safety Training

Drawing on our extensive experience of training in the food services industry, we are pleased to offer a wide range of accredited and certificated food safety and nutrition courses.

Our courses listed here are Highfield HABC accredited courses, therefore giving you the confidence that the training is of the highest standard, that they have comprehensive syllabuses and they are recognised qualifications within the industry.

Food safety is a key requirement for any food service or hospitality business and such we offer a wide range of food safety, HACCP and cleaning courses.

We are also pleased to deliver  Healthier Foods and Special Diets.  In an increasingly heath conscious society with an increasing number of government targets, not only does this course address why accurate nutritional information is important, so too is the recognition and appreciation of allergen and food intolerances.

Food Safety Training

We have a range of Highfield HABC Food Safety courses aimed at staff of all levels.

Level 1 is targeted at new staff with little or no food safety knowledge but don’t directly handle food, Level 2  and Level 2 Refresher are for those directly involved in food preparation or service.

Level 3 is aimed at managers and supervisory staff responsible for controlling food safety.

Food Safety HACCP Training

This qualification is aimed at those already working or preparing to work in the food industry.

The Highfield HABC  courses help food handlers and managers understand the principles and purpose of the HACCP food safety management system and be able to correctly apply it to the workplace.

Cleaning in Food Premises

Aimed at anyone whose job involves the cleaning of food premises including contract cleaners.Food Safety Hygiene Rating

This Level 2 workshop has been designed to provide an essential introduction to the hazards associated with cleaning in food premises and how to control the risks.

Healthier Food & Special Diets

With increasing government recommendations on the nutritional content of meals, more than ever, catering staff need to understand the link between diet and health.

This Level 2 workshop provides a good basic understanding of nutrition and why this information should be made available.  It also covers food allergens and intolerances.
